The present invention relates to a method for removing an unusual odor from horse oil used as a raw ingredient for cosmetics and the like, and cosmetics made of the horse oil produced by the same method. Provided are the method for removing an unusual odor from horse oil which comprises the following steps: extracting horse oil for sorting fat meat from slaughtered horse meat and then extracting horse oil extracting polyphenol and chloropyl by mixing 50-200 parts by weight of water per 100 parts by weight of the horse oil and adding 1-10 parts by weight of dried plants containing polyphenol and chlorophyl and then boiling at 80-100°C to elute and extract the polyphenol and chlorophyl removing a bad odor by stirring a mixture of the horse oil, water, polyphenol, and chlorophyl at 30-50°C for 2 hours to react the bad odor of the horse oil with the polyphenol and chlorophyl, thereby inactivating the bad odor and collecting the horse oil from which the bad odor is removed by leaving the mixture from which the bad odor is removed at room temperature so as to separate into water and oil, the cosmetics manufactured by containing the horse oil, from which the bad odor is removed and collected by the method, as a raw ingredient.
