Provided are: a feed composition which increases the weight of animals to which the composition is administered, decreases the feed conversion ratio, and can be stored for an extended period of time, the production and components of said composition being easy to adjust； and a production method for the feed composition. The feed composition is characterized in that a liquid feed additive obtained by using a microorganism of the genus Aspergillus to ferment a carbohydrate-containing carbohydrate starting material is substituted for 5-50 pcnt of a feed starting material on a dry matter basis.
