The present disclosure discloses an anti-wrapping arrangement for an auger drum (4) with spiral flights (5). The anti-wrapping arrangement is provided on the auger drum (4) in header arrangement (1) of a harvester. The anti-wrapping arrangement comprises a guide element (18) provided between a trap space defined at the point of contact of the spiral flights (5) and the enlarged drum (10) disposed on the auger drum (4). The spiral flights (5) on the auger drum contacts the auger drum (4) at either ends thereof. The elongated drum (10) has a diameter larger than the diameter of the auger drum (4). Thus, the guide element positioned between the enlarged drum and the flight extensions or the spiral flights, restricts crops from being wrapped around the center of the auger drum.
