PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable bactericidal of a display device or input device of electronic equipment and air cleaning of a periphery of the electronic equipment without causing any operational failure.
SOLUTION: The electronic equipment is configured as a folding structure including a first casing equipped with a display part and a second casing equipped with an operation input part and a hinge part connecting both casings, and provided with an ion generation means for generating minus ion for performing ozone and air cleaning for performing bactericidal. The ion generation means generates minus ion to a direction isolated from the electronic equipment when the electronic equipment is put in an opened state and a power source ON state, and generates ozone toward the opposite faces of both casings when the electronic equipment is put in a closed state and a power OFF state.
