The present invention relates to the role of PRKCSH in Endoplasmic reticulum stress response, according to the present invention PRKCSH physically interacts with IRE1α under endoplasmic reticulum stress conditions to selectively select only IRE1α from the UPR (Unfolding Protein Response) branch By activating, the mechanism of action was found to protect the tumor cells from cell death by inducing phosphorylation and oligomerization of IRE1α. Thus, the present invention provides a novel mechanism of action of PRKCSH in cancer development.본 발명은 소포체 스트레스 반응(Endoplasmic reticulum stress response)에서의 PRKCSH의 역할에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면 소포체 스트레스 조건 하에서 PRKCSH가 IRE1α와 물리적으로 상호작용하여 UPR(Unfolding Protein Response) branch 중 IRE1α만을 선택적으로 활성화함으로써, IRE1α의 인산화 및 올리고머화를 유도하여 세포 사멸로부터 종양 세포를 보호하는 작용기전을 발견하였다. 이에, 본 발명은 PRKCSH가 암 발생에 관여하는 새로운 작용기작을 제공하는 것이다.
