PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for executing appropriate procedure for safety when a driver gets into an abnormal state.SOLUTION: A driver monitoring device 50 comprises abnormality determination means for determining an abnormal state of a driver affecting vehicle driving, and executes danger avoidance processing by controlling vehicle behavior on the basis of the determination result. The driver monitoring device 50 also comprises in-vehicle warning control means for giving an in-vehicle warning when the abnormality determination means determines that the driver is in the abnormal state out-vehicle warning control means for giving an out-vehicle warning when there is no reply from the driver after a predetermined first time passes after the in-vehicle warning is started and danger avoidance control means for executing danger avoidance processing when there is no reply from the driver after a predetermined second time passes after the out-vehicle warning is started.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
