The present invention relates to an anti-inflammatory or moisturizing composition containing a mixture extract of Lonicerae flos, Ulmus macrocarpa, and Bambusae caulis in Taeniam for reducing skin irritation. According to the present invention, the mixture extract of Lonicerae flos, Ulmus macrocarpa, and Bambusae caulis in Taeniam inhibits iNOS activity and suppresses the production of PGE_2, IL-6, and IL-8, which are inflammatory mediators, thereby exhibiting an anti-inflammatory effect, and reduces skin irritation through the anti-inflammatory effect. Furthermore, the mixture extract stimulates activity of aquaporin 3, which is a natural moisturizing factor, thereby exhibiting a moisturizing effect.
