PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffin to be burned together with the remains therein, gentle to the surrounding natural environment, lightweighted and convenient for handling, combinable with a cooling device to efficiently cool down the coffin interior and recognizable the figure of the dead from outside the coffin from the time of placing the dead body within the coffin until its cremation so that it may be kept cooled down without damage.SOLUTION: The coffin 1 includes a top surface opened coffin body 2 comprising a bottom plate 3, sides plates 4, 5, a front plate 6, and a rear plate 7, and a lid 11 to cover the top surface opening of the coffin body 2. The coffin body 2 and lid 11 are made of a transparent PETG plate material. A blow-out means installer 3e is formed at both the corners of one longitudinal end (the side of the front plate 6) of the bottom plate 3 for installing a cold air blow-out means 8 that blows out cold air toward the other end (the side of the rear plate 7) of the bottom plate 3.
