PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of effectively preventing the lateral leakage of urine and the like by improving the fitting property of a crotch part, especially an urination part.SOLUTION: This absorbent article includes a top sheet 5, a back sheet 2 and an absorbent core 3 disposed therebetween. In this absorbent article, the back sheet 2 has a central region B and a peripheral region C enclosing the central region, in a part superposed with the absorbent core 3, and the peripheral region C is fixed with one or a plurality of elastic members 4 enclosing the central region B, in a stretched state, and the contraction of the elastic members 4 makes the central region B of the back sheet 2 convexly curve towards the side of the top sheet 5 to make the absorbent core 3 convexly curve.
