PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine provided with a footrest part capable of applying pressurizing massage and also stretches and twists to the lower thigh of a person to be treated and performing the exercise of a hip joint.
SOLUTION: The chair type massage machine is provided with the footrest part 13a for mounting both lower thighs of the person to be treated on the front part of a seat part. The footrest part 13a is provided with a pair of left and right rolling members 4a for rolling the respective lower thighs in the width direction in the footrest part 13a for the respective lower thighs so as to receive the respective lower thighs on the mounting side in the footrest part 13a, and the side to receive the lower thighs of the rolling members 4a is tiltable. The rolling member 4a can be constituted of a planar member 41a and an expansion/contraction bag 42a arranged at the lower part of the planar member 41a and expanded and contracted by an air supply/discharge apparatus for tilting the planar member 41a.
