The medical image examination apparatus of an embodiment is provided with: a data-receiving unit that receives data for multiple medical images； a display unit for displaying the medical images on the basis of the data for the multiple medical images received by the data-receiving unit； and a control unit that executes control to display the medical images on the display screen of the display unit. The control unit performs control so as to: arrange the medical images, which have been classified into multiple groups according to at least one of the type of medical image-generating apparatus that generated the medical image data, the imaging conditions, image-generation method, imaging position, operator instruction, operator setting, or the time of the imaging, by group； display the respective multiple medical images that correspond to two or more of the multiple groups on the display screen； and scroll the multiple medical images arranged on the display screen in groups according to a scrolling instruction from the operator.La présente invention concerne, selon un mode de réalisation, un appareil d'examen d'images médicales qui comprend : une unité de réception de données qui reçoit des données pour de multiples images médicales； une unité d'affichage pour afficher les images médicales sur la base des données pour les multiples images médicales reçues par l'unité de réception des données； et une unité de commande qui exécute la commande pour afficher les images médicales sur l'écran d'affichage de l'unité d'affichage.
