The drill has a reservoir (1), a sorting device (2), and a set of seed lines (3), where proportioned seed grains are conveyed in respective seed lines. A set of air intake devices (13, 14) is arranged along with a switching device for optional support of seeds by compressed air or without compressed air by utilizing gravity in respective seed lines. A jet pump (12) that is designed as an ejector is provided along the sorting device, where volume of air fed to the air intake device is changeable. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a seed drill.
