The present invention provides a liquid nail lacquer composition comprising a pharmaceutically active compound and an aqueous polymer dispersion, wherein the pharmaceutically active compound is an antimycotic agent, whereby said antimycotic agent is an organic acid, and further comprising at least one visual control agent and at least one keratolytic agent； wherein said liquid nail lacquer composition forms a film upon drying under standard ambient temperature and pressure； a method for providing the same； and a container comprising said liquid nail lacquer composition.
