The present invention relates to a wet tissue composition comprising tropolone and a wet tissue comprising the same. The wet tissue according to the present invention uses a wet tissue composition comprising tropolone, and thus shows improved resistance against bacteria and molds. In addition, the wet tissue composition according to the present invention significantly reduces or completely avoids the use of a quaternary ammonium compound, such as cetylpyridinium chloride, and thus reduces generation of bubbles from a wet tissue and significantly decreases generation of a pop-up phenomenon. In addition, it is possible to significantly improve the problems of a slippery feeling and diffusivity occurring in the conventional wet tissue obtained by using a preservative composition for a wet tissue comprising cetylpyridinium chloride.
