Hair treatment agents and methods for treating hair are presented herein. An exemplary hair treatment agent includes, based on its weight, (a) from about 0.001 to about 10 wt. % of at least one succinimidyl ester, and (b) from about 0.001 to about 20 wt. % of at least one proteolipid of formula (II) R′；—；X—；R″；.
