The method involves measuring the support pressure with a piezoelectric pressure sensor at the skin surface in wrist joint suturation. The air pressure is converted with another piezoelectric pressure sensor (5). The blood flow is converted at the measuring position by an infrared sensor and assigned detector. The electrically measured signals are converted into blood pressure value by algorithm. An independent claim is included for a device for continually measuring the blood pressure for monitoring purposes.
