PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip device for an endoscope which has a diameter reduction sleeve that can be housed in a sheath body due to diameter reduction and improves the movability of the diameter reduction sleeve in the forward and backward directions of an operation wire, and a clip device kit for an endoscope.SOLUTION: A clip device for an endoscope 100 includes a long sheath 10, an operation wire 20, and a diameter reduction sleeve 70 housed in a distal end part of the sheath 10. The diameter reduction sleeve 70 includes a tubular sleeve body 122 which can transit to a projecting state and a housing state in linkage with forward and backward movements of the operation wire 20 with the operation wire 20 inserted thereinto, and has a guide part 120 extending from a distal end part of the sleeve body 122 toward a distal side and having an outer diameter larger than the outer diameter of the sleeve body 122 and the inner diameter of the sheath 10 in a projecting state.
