PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bait log that can achieve natural movement attracting squids and that has a configuration not immediately releasing squids holding it.SOLUTION: A bait log 1 has a head side portion 10 having a fishing line connection 3, and a tail side portion 15 having a fishhook 5, both of the portions being connected to each other by a connecting member 20 with a predetermined distance between them.
