According to the adventitious root cultivation method of the present invention, Eurycomalongifolia adventitious roots accelerating growth and having an increased bioactive compound content can be effectively mass-produced, and biomass and bioactive compounds of the Eurycomalongifolia adventitious roots obtained by the cultivation method of the present invention can be used in manufacturing cosmetics, food, spices, beverage and tonic, which is anticipated to be industrially useful.본 발명은 유리코마 속(Eurycomasp.) 식물의 잎, 줄기 또는 뿌리를 옥신을 함유한 MS 배지에 접종하여 부정근을 유도한 후 유도된 부정근을 배양하는 단계를 포함하는 유리코마 속 식물 부정근의 생장 및 생리활성 물질 함량을 증대시키는 방법 및 상기 방법에 의해 제조된 생장 및 생리활성 물질 함량이 증대된 유리코마 속 식물 부정근에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 부정근 배양 방법을 이용하면 생장이 증진되고 생리활성 물질의 함량이 높은 유리코마 론지폴리아(Eurycomalongifolia) 부정근을 효과적으로 대량생산할 수 있고, 본 발명의 배양 방법으로 얻어진 유리코마 론지폴리아(Eurycomalongifolia) 부정근의 바이오매스 및 생리활성 물질은 화장품, 식품, 향신료, 음료 및 자양 강장제 등의 제조에 이용할 수 있으므로, 산업적으로 매우 유용할 것으로 판단된다.
