The present invention relates to a method of inducing vomiting in an animal, particularly a companion animal, e.g. a dog and a cat, in situations where vomiting is necessary. The method comprises administering to an animal eye an eye drop composition comprising an optional D 2 family dopamine agonist as an active ingredient to induce vomiting.
