The present invention relates to a new magnesium system, usable for the care of the skin, said characterized in that it comprises: (a) a first source of magnesium in an oral preparation, in the form of progressive release tablet, said source providing Mg ions " in the body, the tablet form presenting in vitro, after 2 h in OClN, a dissolution rate (6) of magnesium, that it contains, less than or equal to 60% by weight relative to the total weight of the Mg provided by said source, and (b) a second source of magnesium in a topical preparation, said source providing Mg2 + ions in the skin. It relates to also the use of this system for the treatment of the skin with regard to stress, fatigue and deficiencies in cutaneous barrier especially with regard to the hydration of the stratum corneum.La présente invention a trait à un nouveau système à base de magnésium,utilisable pour le soin de la peau, leditsystème étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend : (a) une première source demagnésium dans une préparation orale, sous forme decomprimé à libération progressive, la dite source fournissant des ions Mg"dans l'organisme, la forme comprimé présentant invitro, après 2h en milieu HCl O,1N, un taux de dissolution (6) du magnésium,qu'elle contient, inférieur ou égal à 60%, en poidspar rapport au poids total du Mg fourni par ladite source, et (b) une secondesource de magnésium dans une préparation topique,ladite source fournissant des ions Mg2+ au niveau de la peau. Elle concerneégalement l'utilisation de ce système pour le traitementde la peau vis-à-vis du stress, de la fatigue et des déficiences de labarrière cutanée notamment en ce qui concerne l'hydratation dustratum corneum.
