The present invention is to provide a control apparatus for a radiation imaging system and a control method for the radiation imaging system. The control apparatus comprises: an input unit to receive a reference position moving command of a radiation imaging apparatus which emits radiation to an object and detects the radiation passing through the object； and a control unit to obtain multiple radiation images by moving the radiation imaging apparatus and to move the radiation imaging apparatus to a reference position in accordance with the reference position moving command.대상체에 방사선을 조사하고 대상체를 투과한 방사선을 검출하는 방사선 촬영 장치의 기준 위치 이동 명령을 입력 받는 입력부와 방사선 촬영 장치를 이동시켜 복수 개의 방사선 영상을 획득하고, 기준 위치 이동 명령에 따라 방사선 촬영 장치를 기준 위치로 이동시키는 제어부를 포함하는 방사선 영상 시스템의 제어 장치 및 그 제어 방법을 제공한다.
