The gantry-diagnostic bed system comprises a gantry for supporting a medical device, a diagnostic bed designed as being integral with the gantry and for carrying an object to be inspected, and a diagnostic bed adjusting mechanism for adjusting the position of the diagnostic bed relative to the gantry such that the diagnostic bed can be folded with respect to the gantry.
