The present invention is a positioning and bone meal collecting device for a dental handpiece which comprising a cylinder-shape bone meal collector, a flexible component, a drill bit positioning cylinder, and a positioning screw. The bone meal collector is a cylinder-shape sleeve, and one end thereof is preferably with smooth end face with a through hole provided in the center thereof. The flexible component provided in the bone meal collector is preferably a spring. One end of the flexible component is connect to the inner side of the end with smooth end face, and the other end thereof id provided with a coil for securing to the flange of said drill bit positioning cylinder by elastic force, thereby it can removably connect to the flange of said drill bit positioning cylinder.
