PURPOSE: A composition containing novel compounds or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof for preventing or treating osteoporosis is provided to suppress bone resorption and to be used in a preventing agent or therapeutic agent for osteoporosis. CONSTITUTION: A novel compound for relieving, preventing, or treating osteoporosis is denoted by chemical formula I. A method for preparing the compound of chemical formula I comprises: a step of reacting 2-hydroxbenzothiazole with 1-bromo-5-chloropentane or 1-bromo-4-chlorobutane under the presence of base to prepare a compound of chemical formula II； and a step of reacting the compound of chemical formula II with a compound of chemical formula III under the presence of the base. The base includes potassium chloride, sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate, or sodium phosphate.
