PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for storing tablets which prevents tablets from excessively coming out, and from which only a predetermined amount of tablets can be taken out.SOLUTION: A container for storing tablets 1 comprises: a container body 2 having a bottom wall 20 and a sidewall 21 and a cover 3 which forms a storage space 4 for storing tablets 5 in between the container body 2, in which the container body 2 or the cover 3 has a lid part 24 integrally provided via a hinge part 23, the container body 2 or the cover 3 has elastically deformable variable bodies 27 which are erected from an inner surface thereof and section and form a passage 28 for the tablets 5 from the storage space 4 to the opening 22, and a predetermined amount holding part 25 is provided for an inner side of the lid part 24. When the lid part 24 is closed, the variable bodies 27 are elastically deformed due to contact of contact parts 26 protruded from the inner surface of the lid part 24 to widen the passage 28 to allow the tablets 5 to pass through from the storage space 4 to the predetermined amount holding part 25. When the lid part 24 is opened, contact of the contact parts 26 is cancelled to restore the shape, and the passage 28 is narrowed to make the tablets 5 impossible to pass through.
