The present invention relates to a composition for oral administration of tamsulosin hydrochloride comprising tamsulosin hydrochloride, polyvinylacetate, and a water-soluble hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, wherein the amount of polyvinylacetate ranges from 20 to 1000 parts by weight based on 1 part by weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride and wherein the amount of water-soluble hydroxypropylmethylcellulose ranges from 0.1 to 500 parts by weight based on 1 part by weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride.
