The method includes: obtaining, by a terminal, first biometric feature information of a measured target, where the first biometric feature information includes a pulse wave signal and/or an electrocardio signal of the measured target; obtaining, by the terminal, a first status of the measured target according to the first biometric feature information of the measured target, where the first status of the measured target includes at least one of an activity status of the measured target, a posture of the measured target, or a measurement location of a pulse wave of the measured target; determining, by the terminal, a blood pressure calculation policy of the measured target according to the first status of the measured target; and determining, by the terminal, a blood pressure value of the measured target according to the blood pressure calculation policy and the first biometric feature information of the measured target. The present invention can increase precision of blood pressure measurement.
