A binding machine for gardening comprises a tape magazine unit (80). The tape magazine unit (80) is rotatably attached to a shaft portion (85) of a boss (84), and is biased in a reverse direction (D2) of a tape roll by a torsion coil spring (87). When a tape reel having a small diameter is mounted to a tape magazine main body (82), the inner peripheral surface of the tape reel comes in direct contact with a lever member (86), thereby pressing the lever member (86) in a forward rotation direction (D1) of the tape roll. The lever member (86) is rotated in the forward rotation direction (D1) of the tape roll using the shaft portion (85) as a support point, and is deviated from a center portion of the boss (84), and the tape roll is loaded inside the tape magazine main body (82). The inner peripheral surface of the reel is biased outwardly by the level member (86), thereby preventing return of the tape reel. Accordingly, even when a tape on tape reels having different inner diameter dimensions is used, the binding machine for gardening can reliably prevent return of the tape.
