Compositions comprising microRNAs (miRNAs) and targeting agents are disclosed, as well as methods for delivering a therapeutic composition comprising the same, and the use of these compositions to treat obesity or cardiometabolic disorders. In some aspects, the compositions comprise a miRNA agent and a targeting agent. In some embodiments, the targeting agent may be an aptamer, an exosome, or both an aptamer and an exosome.
