The invention relates to a device and a method for reducing the stress induced to a human body by an electromagnetic field, such as a mobile phone-generated field. According to the invention, the device comprises three electronic optical relays (), one of them being serially connected to the D.C. supply of a sinusoidal oscillator () of fixed frequency and the other two being serially connected to the outputs of a sinusoidal oscillator () to the arms or legs circuit, a circuit () amplifying/detecting the presence of an external electromagnetic field induced to the human body, mobile phone-generated field included, which automatically couples the three optical relays () while said external electromagnetic field induced to the human body is detected, a circuit () for manually coupling the three optical relays () with fixed time-lag, preferably 9 min, and a set of direct electrical connections to each arm or leg.
