PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platinum fiber which has an antimicrobial activity, together with heat generating properties.SOLUTION: When tested by immersing an object to be treated in an aqueous solution of platinum nano-colloid with platinum particles dispersed, or blowing the aqueous solution of platinum nano-colloid, drying to fix the platinum particles of the platinum nano-colloid to the surface of the object, treating in a drier for 4 hours, leaving standing in a desiccator provided with silica gel for one night, folding the specimen twice, attaching a thermo-couple temperature sensor to the center of the folded specimen, folding twice further, treating the specimen in an environment of 20°C and 40% RH for 2 hours by using a thermostatic high-humidifier and changing the settings of the thermostatic high-humidifier to 20°C and 90% RH, a platinum fiber increases in temperature by 2.0°C or more after 4 minutes and shows a bacteriostatic activity value of 2.0 or greater, based on JIS in the bacterial liquid absorption method of JIS L1902:2008 quantitative test using Staphylococcus aureus. The platinum fiber thus has an antimicrobial activity, together with heat generating properties.【課題】本発明は発熱性に加え抗菌活性を有するプラチナ繊維を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】被処理物を白金粒子が分散したプラチナナノコロイドの水溶液に浸し又は吹き付けて、乾燥させることで、被処理物の表面に上記プラチナナノコロイドの上記白金粒子を定着させた後、乾燥機において4時間処理し、シリカゲル入りのデシケータ内で一晩放置し、処理後の試料を二つ折りにし、その中心に熱電対温度センサを取り付け、さらに二つ折りにし、試験体とし、恒温高湿器を用いて試験体を20℃、40％ＲＨの環境下で2時間処理した後、恒温高湿器の設定を20℃、90％ＲＨに変化させた試験の結果、4分経過で温度が2.0℃以上上昇し、黄色ぶどう球菌を用いたJIS L 1902 :2008定量試験の菌液吸収法において、JIS基準で2.0以上の静菌活性値を示す発熱性に加え抗菌活性を有するプラチナ繊維。【選択図】 図１
