A positive pressure respiratory therapy interface includes a mask assembly having a mask seal and a mask shell. The mask assembly is positioned lower than the user's nasal bridge to expose it. The mask seal includes first and second portions that contact opposite sides of the user's nose on first and second sides, respectively, of the nasal region. The first and second portions each include a support that assists in maintaining the shape of the mask seal. A pair of covers may be supported against the mask assembly and adjacent to each one of the first and second portions of the mask seal. The cover limits expansion of the first and second portions of the mask seal in response to pressurized air in the mask seal.
