PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To removably fit an imitation horn 7 over the real horn 3 of a beetle 1 and replace the imitation horn 7 with ones of different shapes, patterns, colors, characters, and the like, thereby enhancing the identifiability of the beetle 1.SOLUTION: A horn cover 6 having an imitation horn 7 resembling the real horn 3 of a beetle 1 is removably fitted over the real horn 3, so that the horn cover 6 covers the real horn 3 from above. By changing the shape, pattern, color and the like of the imitation horn 7 or by writing characters on the imitation horn 7, the beetle 1 can be identified when the beetle 1 is bred or watched. The imitation horn 7 may be molded from soft material or an imitation horn 7 made from hard material may be rounded off to reduce the possibility that someone breeding or watching the beetle 1 touches branch horns with his/her finger even when touching the real horn 3 with the finger, thereby increasing safety during breeding or watching.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【解決手段】カブトムシ1の実物角3に似た擬似角7を有する角カバー6をその実物角3に対し着脱可能に装着すると、角カバー6が実物角3を上方から覆う。【効果】擬似角7の形態や模様や色などを変えたり擬似角7に文字を付したりすれば、カブトムシ1の飼育時や観賞時にカブトムシ1を識別することができる。擬似角7を軟質材により成形したり、硬質材により成形した擬似角7に丸みを持たせたりすれば、カブトムシ1の飼育者や観賞者などが指で実物角3に触れても指を枝角に触れるおそれが少なくなり、飼育時や観賞時の安全性を高めることができる。カブトムシ1の実物角3に対し擬似角7を着脱させれば、形態や模様や色や文字などの異なる擬似角7に交換することができるので、カブトムシ1の識別性を高めることができる。【選択図】図1
