PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a reconstruction condition of DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) image data after the fact.
SOLUTION: In a medical image processing system including a medical image diagnostic apparatus and a medical image storage apparatus, the medical image diagnostic apparatus transmits Raw data and DICOM image data to the medical image storage apparatus. On the other hand, the medical image storage apparatus extracts DICOM-UID and the reconstruction condition from the received DICOM image data when receiving Raw data and DICOM image data, and Raw data are associated with DICOM-UID and the reconstruction condition, and are stored in a memory part. The medical image storage apparatus removes DICOM image data from the memory part after storing Raw data, DICOM-UID and the reconstruction condition in the memory part.
