The setting part sets an area of interest. The first calculation part calculates a measurement result on the basis of a measurement value at each position included in the area of interest collected by ultrasonic scanning. The second calculation part calculates a measurement metric concerning reliability of a measurement result on the basis of the measurement value at each position included in the area of interest.
