PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply install a vertebral arch spacer into the vertebral arch in the vertebral arch plasty.SOLUTION: A vertebral arch spacer 1 is provided with a columnar main body 3 attached to each cutting edge of the vertebral arch being cut by screws. The main body 3 includes two receiving holes 4 formed in the inside of the main body 3 in a position spaced apart in a longitudinal direction of the main body 3 and capable of receiving heads of the screws, respectively. An opening 5a is opened in each receiving hole 4 where the head is inserted in the receiving hole 4 from the outside of the main body 3. The opening 5a has a diameter larger than the diameter of a shaft part of the screw and smaller than the diameter of the head.
