To achieve the purpose, according to the present invention, the UV emitting device includes: a main body including an accepting part； and a UV emitting part installed on the inner surface of the accepting part to emit ultraviolet rays of which the wavelength range is suitable for the synthesis of vitamin D.본 발명은 자외선을 이용해, 사람 또는 동물의 건강 유지 내지 증진에 필수적인 비타민 D를 체내 합성(사람의 경우 피부에서, 동물의 경우 털 또는 피부에서 합성)되도록 자외선을 조사하는 비타민 D 합성용 자외선 조사 장치에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 인체가 수용되는 수용부를 구비한 본체와, 상기 수용부의 내측면에 구비된 자외선 조사부를 포함하여 이루어져, 집중적인 자외선 조사를 통해 비타민 D 합성 효율을 향상시킬 수 있는 비타민 D 합성용 자외선 조사 장치에 관한 것이다.상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 본 발명에 따른 비타민 D 합성용 자외선 조사 장치는, 수용부를 구비한 본체； 및 상기 수용부의 내측면에 구비되어, 비타민 D가 합성되도록 하는 파장대의 자외선을 조사하는 자외선 조사부；를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
