PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique enabling a weeder for paddy fields, which can easily remove even weeds rooted for two or more weeks after rice transplantation without using a large agricultural machine to alleviates the labors of a rice producer, to be manufactured at a low cost.SOLUTION: The weeder 10 for paddy fields, comprising a handle portion 20, a cultivation soil layer floatation plate portion 30, and weed pull-out portions 40, is characterized in that the handle portion and the cultivation soil layer floatation plate portion are bound through an attaching angle-adjusting mechanism 50 and a fixing mechanism 60 in a state capable of being inclined and fixed the cultivation soil layer floatation plate portion is a plate-like member in which the four corners of an approximately longitudinal plate-shape whose longitudinal direction is an inter-seedling distance or inter-row distance direction on a paddy field are chamfered and rounded, and sinks in field surface water and floats on the cultivation soil layer in the relation of the total weight of the handle portion and the weed pull-out portions to a buoyancy and the weed pull-out portions comprise a weed pull-out wire 70 and two projected axes 80 for laterally disposing the weed pull-out wire on the bottom surface of the cultivation soil layer floatation plate portion in an expanded state.
