PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for more simply transmitting the measurement result of a measurement instrument to the outside.SOLUTION: A communication function adding apparatus 20 comprises: an attaching unit 21 for attaching the communication function adding apparatus 20 to the measurement instrument a reader 22 for reading a measurement result displayed on the display unit of the measurement instrument and a communication unit 23 for transmitting the read measurement result to the outside.
