The invention relates to.a method of cleaning stable air in particular, said air (5a) being sucked into an air cleaning system (1), in which the air (5a) first passes through a mist chamber in a horizontal air flow, that is a chamber, where a liquid mist is discharged from nozzles (20), said liquid consisting of water admixed with acid/base in order to neutralize ammonia and/or the odorous molecules in the air. The air (5a) is mixed together with the mist (7) in an effective manner in the mist chamber, and the liquid is discharged via nozzles (20). The water in the mist absorbs dust and the ammonia and/or the odorous molecules in the stable air, so that it may then be conveyed to a droplet separator (8a and 8b), where the last liquid may be trapped in order to be collected. This ensures an optimum efficiency and a lower consumption of liquid and energy, since either acid or base may be supplied, as needed.Linvention concerne un procédé dépuration dair stable en particulier, ledit air (5a) étant aspiré dans un système dépuration dair (1) où lair (5a) traverse dabord une chambre à brouillard sous forme de flux dair horizontal, chambre dans laquelle un brouillard liquide est déchargé des buses (20), ledit liquide étant constitué deau mélangée avec de lacide ou une base pour neutraliser lammoniac et/ou les molécules odorantes présentes dans lair. Lair (5a) est mélangé efficacement avec le brouillard (7) dans la chambre à brouillard, et le liquide est déchargé par lintermédiaire de buses (20). Leau présente dans le brouillard absorbe la poussière et lammoniac et/ou les molécules odorantes présentes dans lair stable, ce qui permet de la transporter ensuite jusquà un séparateur de gouttelettes (8a et 8b) où le dernier liquide peut être piégé afin dêtre recueilli. Ce procédé assure une efficacité optimale et une réduction de la consommation de liquide et dénergie, puisquun apport dacide ou de base peut être fourni au besoin.
