PURPOSE: An acetabular cup for an artificial hip joint is provided to be firmly combined to an acetabulum in the initial stage and permanently combined by bone binding after the initial fixing. CONSTITUTION: An acetabular cup(100) for an artificial hip joint comprises a body(110) and a screw thread unit(130). The body has a hemispherical trajectory on its outer surface. The body has an upper end unit having the shortest diameter of a cross section and a lower end unit having the longest diameter of a cross section. The screw thread unit is formed on the outer surface with a first height in a direction toward the upper end unit from the lower end unit. The bottom surface of the screw thread unit is located in the inside of the semi-circular trajectory and a free end of the screw thread unit is located in the outside of the semi-circular trajectory.본 발명은, 반구형 궤적에 대응하여 형성되는 외면과, 상기 외면 중 평단면의 직경이 가장 작은 부분인 상단부와, 상기 외면 중 평단면의 직경이 가장 큰 부분인 하단부를 갖는 몸체； 및 상기 하단부에서 상기 상단부를 향한 방향으로 제1 높이를 갖고서 상기 외면에 형성되며, 나사골의 바닥면은 상기 반구형 궤적의 내측에 위치하고 나사산의 자유단은 상기 반구형 궤적의 외측에 위치하는 나사산부를 포함하는, 인공 고관절용 비구컵을 제공한다.
