A header comprising an inlet line (202), a check valve (208), an accumulator (210) and a hydromechanical transmission system is disclosed. The inlet line (202) is used to receive a first pressure of hydraulic fluid and be in communication with the check valve (208). The accumulator (210) is located downstream the check valve (208) and in communication with the inlet line (202). The hydromechanical transmission system includes a pressure line (212) in communication with the inlet line that is downstream the accumulator and a closed hydraulic circuit in communication with the pressure line having a hydrostatic pump (216) and a variable speed motor (218).
