PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for detecting a real size of organs and lesions in a medical image are provided to detect the actual size of the organs and lesions by capturing a gamma ray using a pin hole gamma camera.CONSTITUTION: A real size of organs and lesions is detected using a user interface(200). Depth information about the organs and lesions is provided from outside(202). The distance between a pin hole and skin is measured. If the depth information is not provided from the outside, body information is inputted for estimating the depth information about the organs and lesions(206).
