The invention relates to an automated medical instrument for brachytherapy, with two mobility degrees, which uses six needles mounted in the instrument magazine, needles that it loads and successively inserts up to a preset depth. According to the invention, the instrument consists of a module for needle insertion and loading, a module for storing the needles and a module for guiding the needle tip, the module for needle insertion and loading being driven by two rotary motors, a motor (1) which ensures the needle insertion according to a linear trajectory and a motor (2) which drives the mechanisms for needle loading, clamping and releasing, the needle advance and guiding being achieved by a rail (3) on which there is a slide (4), on which a mechanism for clamping the needle is mounted, the motor (2) actuation involving also the driving of the shafts (11 and 22), where the shaft (11) drives the mechanism for needle clamping and releasing, with a fixed part comprising the elements (28) of the case which are fixed onto the rail (3) by means of the supports (29 and 30), and a rotary part comprising the elements (26) designed with a geometry which may lead the needle onto the guiding elements (27) where the shaft (22) drives the mechanism of needle loading from the instrument magazine with the total capacity of 6 needles, where, by rotating the shaft (22) there are also rotated the elements leading the needles into the magazine (26), the needle being guided on the channel of the guiding elements (27) of the magazine on a trajectory given by the geometry of the guiding element (27) of the magazine and guided by the module for needle tip guiding during the insertion.Invenţia se referă la un instrument medical automatizat pentru brahiterapie, cu două grade de mobilitate, care utilizează şase ace montate în magazia instrumentului pe care le încarcă şi le inserează în mod succesiv până la o adâncime prestabilită.
