The jaw includes a movement regulating portion regulating the movement of the grasp object along the jaw axis when the grasp object is grasped between the jaw and a distal treatment section, the movement regulating portion being positioned in a position that does not come in contact with the grasp object when the grasp object is interposed between the opened jaw and the distal treatment section.
