A display wall consists of a number of stacks of support bodies (12) arranged at longitudinal intervals, which are of hollow design and can be filled with humus. Each support body (12) is connected to a similar support body, arranged at the same level but at a distance, by two plane concrete boards (20) which form a plant trough. The concrete boards (20) are supported at their ends in an inclined position by the support bodies (12). To this end, lateral rest shoulders (16), for example, are formed on the support bodies. Each support body (12) with the exception of the end body supports four boards (20). According to the desired height of the display wall (10), a corresponding number of support bodies and boards are arranged above one another. The new display wall can be fully planted over the entire surface on both sides and more particularly not only in the region of the board troughs but also in the region of the support bodies. The undersides of the boards (20) are covered with sound-absorbing panels so that the wall (10) has a high sound-proofing capacity.
