The implantable device in the intestinal cavity, comprises a reactor comprising a membrane or semipermeable or porous coating and connected to an attachment element to an intestinal or gastric wall. The reactor may be in the form of a ribbon, a structure having more than two faces or an open structure delimiting a lumen, having one or formed of a semi-permeable or porous material. The reactor may also be of the type which, at least in part with its semipermeable or porous membrane, delimits a closed interior volume. The reactor may comprise or carry enzymes or microorganisms, especially bacteria or yeast. It is used to generate a chemical reaction with one or more molecules present in the intestine or to produce one or more biologically active molecules. It can especially be used to consume sugars, disaccharides and simple sugars. Le dispositif implantable dans la cavité intestinale, comprend un réacteur comportant une membrane ou revêtement semi-perméable ou poreux et relié à un élément de fixation à une paroi intestinale ou gastrique. Le réacteur peut avoir la forme d'un ruban, d'une structure ayant plus de deux faces ou d'une structure ouverte délimitant une lumière, comportant un, ou formé, d'un matériau semi-perméable ou poreux. Le réacteur peut aussi être du type qui, au moins en partie avec sa membrane semi-perméable ou poreuse, délimite un volume intérieur fermé. Le réacteur peut comprendre ou porter des enzymes ou des microorganismes , notamment bactéries ou levure. Il est utilisé pour générer une réaction chimique avec une ou des molécules présentes dans l'intestin ou de produire une ou des molécules biologiquement actives. Il peut notamment servir à consommer des sucres, disaccharides et sucres simples.
