The present description describes the receptor for interleukin 7 (IL-7), in particular the alpha chain of the receptor for human IL-7 which is expressed on human cells and does not interfere with the IL-7 or TSLP signaling pathways (also human IL- 7Ralpha or IL-7Ra or CD127))). The described antibodies have no antagonistic effect on the IL-7 receptor but may still exhibit cytotoxic activity on CD127 positive cells.
