PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lip cosmetic composition not deteriorating glossy finish, excellently developing color, giving good sense of use, and having lasting high moisture performance.SOLUTION: The lip cosmetic composition includes following components (a) and (b): (a) a wax, which contains at least (a1) a hydrocarbon wax having a penetration at 25°C of 5-20 and (a2) a hydrocarbon wax having a penetration at 25°C of more than 20 but 110 or less, in an amount of 1-9 mass% in the total cosmetic composition and (b) an oil agent that is in a liquid state or in a paste state at 25°C.
